Parakite is, above all, a new way of flying your wing. With incidence control right at your fingertips, it becomes possible to manage the power on the floor and airspeed instantly and with real precision. Exploiting the speed range becomes easier, more fun, and unlocks impressive capabilities.
There are a thousand ways to practice this activity! Even though its media exposure tends to focus on the extreme side — speed, close to the ground — it’s entirely possible to enjoy the benefits of this style of flying while cruising calmly, well away from the terrain!
Don’t be fooled — access to strong conditions (turbulent air) is easy, but that doesn’t make them any less demanding!
Thermal flying is not recommended, as it’s very demanding and this control system is uncomfortable and ergonomically unsuited for coring thermals!
At LittleCloud, we offer a full range dedicated to Parakite. Despite their differences, all our wings share a common DNA: direct-ultra intuitive-no-surprise handling, clear feedback from the air mass, and a clear stall point.
La Mouette: a simple, fun wing, ideal for getting into the activity or for chill flights ! Hands up dive, pop, and roll all stay moderate. It’s efficient in lower wind, with a moderate reflex profile.
The Puffin V2 : an ultra playful, highly dynamic, ultra versatile wing — convertible into a mini wing. Hands up dive is a bit more pronounced than on the Mouette. On the Puffin V2, roll is noticeably more pronounced than on the Mouette. Pop is also much more dynamic, and the wing is faster than the Mouette, with a slightly more pronounced reflex profile.
The Frégate: a performance-oriented wing, reserved for pilots with at least some experience. Hands up dive and pop are both very pronounced: it’s a dynamic wing, full of energy, still smoother than the Puffin V2. Ultra precise and ultra-fast, its reflex profile is slightly more pronounced than that of the Mouette and Puffin V2.
It has the widest windrange and it’s the fastest of the Parakite range.
The Kiterisers: thanks to their design, all LittleCloud wings since 2014 can be converted into a Parakite using our dedicated risers – Kiterisers. The speed range won’t be as wide as on a pure Parakite, but the fun factor will absolutely still be there!
